Organization of Latin American Students(OLAS), a student organization was established in 1985. It currently has 50 members and is very active on campus, as well as, in the community through various community service initiatives. The mission, of this student organization, is to promote cultural awareness among CSU Latino and non-Latino students, faculty and staff.  The now traditional CINCO DE MAYO celebration at CSU is sponsored by OLAS. During this annual event, members are recognized for their hard work and dedication. The audience is also treated to: Folkloric Dancers, Mexican food, Mariachi and DJ Music.

Association of Professional Latino Students (APLS) was established in 2005 in order to promote professional development for our Latino students.  APLS members attend the Annual USHLI conferences every year.  In addition, some members participate in the Annual HACU Conference.  The members also organize career fairs and resume workshops with the Career Development Center.  The organization helps all members find internship and career opportunities through the various resources available throughout campus.

Men’s Soccer Club was established in the Spring of 2006 in an effort to implement a Varsity Soccer Program at Chicago State University. To join our Men’s Soccer Club please contact our Outreach Coordinator.
