What is the Student Financial Assistance Outreach Center?

Because too many students do not know how much financial assistance is available to attend college, the Student Financial Assistance Outreach Center (SFAOC) was established in the fall of 1997 to provide financial aid resource information to both students and parents.

Our outreach specialists discuss the various components of financial assistance, the correct way to complete the FAFSA, and any new developments in student financial aid.
Our staff visits high schools, social service agencies, community organizations, and churches to deliver and spread the word about college funding throughout the community.
The SFAOC is committed to eliminating the lack of money as a barrier to college enrollment—because little money shouldn’t hinder big dreams.
