2006/2007 Award Recipients
For the second year, Dean Balogun has presented an award to a distinguished member of the College of Health Sciences' Community Advisory Board. During the Tenth Annual College of Health Sciences Induction ceremony, held May 10, 2007, Dean Balogun presented Community Advisory Board member, Dr. Annie Lawrence Brown with the 2006/2007 Service Award in recognition of her meritorious service to the College of Health Sciences. Dr. Lawrence Brown is one of the pioneer members of the Board, which was created in 2000. This year, during the College Commencement Ceremony, Dean Balogun recognized three students for their academic excellence. Academic Excellence is exemplified by a student who graduates with a grade point average of 3.5 or better. The Award for Academic Excellence goes to the student in the following three department who has earned the highest grade point average.
