Community Partnerships

The Institute addresses the disproportionate incidence of HIV and AIDS in minority populations in Illinois by working through collaborative partnerships with on-campus and community based agencies to:

* Conduct research
* Develop resources

* Provide technical assistance
* Disseminate science-based information.

The Institute has sponsored several teleconferences and supported several community outreach activities such as HIV testing at various venues, and served as the host of the Chicago HIV Planning Group and the African American HIV/AIDS Think Tank meetings.
