The Illinois Schools Journal is a blind, peer-reviewed journal published each spring, focusing on urban issues in education. It is housed in the College of Education, Department of Doctoral Studies. Currently, it is undergoing a transition from a paper to an online format. The peer review board is comprised of experts in various areas of urban education as well as peer reviewers from across the country.
