Undergraduate level programs and options
1. Initial Type 04 certificate in Early Childhood Education option leads to Bachelor of Science in Education degree and Illinois Teacher Certification.
   
   Entitled for Gateways to Opportunity Credentials:
   ECE Credendtial Level 5
   Infant Toddler Credential Level 2

   Early Childhood Special Education Letter of Approval--For Type 04 certified teachers and can be added to the LBS 1 Certificate.
2. Child Studies Option leads to Bachelor of Science in Education without Illinois Teacher Certification.
   
   Entitled for Gateways to Opportunity Credentials:
   Illinois Director Credential Level II
   ECE Credendtial Level 5
   Infant Toddler Credential Level 2
   
   Graduate level programs
3. Master of Science in Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an option in Early Childhood Education (without Illinois Teacher Certification ).
4. Master of Arts in Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education qualifies students for Illinois Teacher Certification ( Initial Type 04 certificate ).
