Dr. Louis Osuji: Worked with SIFE and received National Award. Dr. Behrooz Saghafi: Congratulations: 1: Presented Paper 2009 MBAA International annual meeting in Chicago and served as Chair of Session. 2: Dr. Saghafi also served as the Editor of the Proceedings of Information Systems and Quantitative Methods, Society for the Advancement of Information Systems (SAIS), MBAA International 2009.
Dr. John Stedl: Congratulations on multiple intellectual contributions. 2009: 1) Presented a paper at MBAA in March, 2009
2) Participated in a 3 day statistics workshop (learning the on-line statistics package SOCR) at UCLA. SOCR is a free on-line comprehensive statistics analysis tool kit developed at the UCLA statistics department.
Prof. Hamid Ali: Came to Department in Fall 2008 with 20+ years of teaching experience. Taught at COB CSU in 1987-1990 & 1999-2000. Covered for different faculty members when sick or away. Department thanks and acknowledges his team spirit and help.
Prof. Tonya Boddie: Joined MMMIS in Spring 2009. Came with tremendous experience in Corporate and Sales, as well as teaching experience in Marketing and Management.
E. Clayton and J. Muhammad: Both CSU employees; teach Part Time. Thanks for their effort and contributions.
Dean’s Office Initiatives: SIFE, NABA, COB Advisory Board, Student Scholarships, Delta Mu Delta, MBA, and MSA.
Ken Calvin is responsible for recruitment, placement, and entrepreneurial initiatives. Ken has done a great job for college students.
MMMIS thanks to Dr. Farhad Simyar, Dean and Dr. BJ Tolia, Associate Dean for their cooperation and support to the department for growth and development. Thanks to Asia Momin from the Dean’s Office for helping the department.
