Office of Academic Support

The Office of Academic Support is dedicated to students' personal, social and academic growth. We work closely with students through advisement in developing a mutually agreed upon plan which will aid in the identity and achievement of their educational, career and life goals. Chicago State University (CSU) fosters the intellectual development and success of its student population through a rigorous, positive, and transformative educational experience. CSU is committed to teaching, research, service and community development including social justice, leadership and entrepreneurship. The Office of Academic Support consists of professional staff members who act as a team to help students gain the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to graduate in a timely manner.

The Office of Academic Support provides services for the following student population:

Freshmen (Students who have 0-29 credit hours)
Undecided Majors
Probationary Students
