The Chicago State University (CSU) Annual Friends of CSU Gala raise funds to support scholarships, technology enhancements and infrastructure that benefit the entire Chicago State University community. This event was named after the Friends of CSU Scholars Program initiative. The goal of this program was to pair top CSU students with corporate executives who would serve as mentors. The gala also honor corporate and philanthropic leaders that support CSU programs and other community based initiatives. For the past 13 years, more than 600 business leaders, community leaders and individuals have supported this annual event. We are proud to continue this tradition that supports the hard work and efforts of both our students and Chicagoland leaders.
